it is really weird feeling to have a phobia develop as an adult. 

I think most people I know have like always been afraid of the things they are afraid of. or at least felt like it.

but I can pinpoint the turning point of all of my phobias. 

though the cat thing goes back to when I was like five. but I still remember the process really well. like it went from being interested to terrified over the course of like three years.
