it is awesome.
the beaches are all rocky, but that is okay because I hate sand.
the buildings are beautiful belle epoque style and I am obsessed with all the contrasting colored shutters.
I basically spend all day eating cheese and baguettes and laying out and reading books about Manet.
it is a nice break from pressure to see things before I get to Paris, which I know will be a whirlwind.
the only sucky part is that one of the wheels on my luggage is severely fucked up. so I have to get that fixed in paris and I have no idea what it will cost. but during the inbetween travel between nice and paris I have to deal with 50+ pounds of luggage on one wheel.

I am supposed to email people and tell them what I am doing to prepare for my senior seminars

my laptop is broken.
like won’t turn on at all
and now I am using a school computer to rewrite my already late paper
and I am about to travel around for two weeks with no access to the internet. not because of lack of wifi. but because of lack of computer that works.
